On September 29th, IVRA, an international virus research group, was established in the COEX conference room and held the world's first conference on surmounting COVID-19.
IVRA is a joint collaboration for the treatment of COVID-19 created by medical staff and scholars from over 30 countries around the world.
The main focus of the conference is the discovery of treatments using ‘effective hyperthermia treatment for viral infection’ and treatment to prevent severe transformation of COVID-19 infected patients.
Dr. Yoo Seung-mo and professor Lee Kang-hyeon of Yonsei University Wonju Severance Hospital were appointed as the first organizing chairpersons.
Ambassadors and commercial attachés to Korea attended the event, and more than 20 VIPs, including World Halal Federation Chairman Mohammed Jinnah and UMMC Hospital Dr. Ho, attended online.
Congratulatory remarks were made by Yang Seung-jo, Governor of South Chungcheong Province, Mohammed Jinna, the Chairman of World Halal Federation, and Director of Kazakhstan National Hospital.
